Each Wednesday I will begin the day by drawing an oracle card for inspiration and posting it here.
With a few words from my intuition, I will give you something to think about for your day and week.
Use the card as a writing prompt or simply something to reflect on.
(Serendipity – Wisdom of the Oracle Deck by Colette Baron Reid)
Today I pulled the Serendipity card – and it came out upside down.
Don’t be alarmed. A card presenting as upside down does not necessarily have to be negative.
The word ‘serendipity’ means when something happens by happy chance, a fluke, a set of seemingly unconnected instances that lead to something out- of- the- blue wonderful.
If this card had come out upright, I would be asking all of you to look out for lucky moments in your day.
Since it came out upside down, I am asking you to look out for where you miss the happy instances.
Some of us go through life looking for the meaningful moments as if they should be glaringly obvious.
We look for that four leafed clover in the grass, we look for the stories of lottery winners and those too-good-to-be -true moments.
Today, I want you to look for the not so obvious moments of serendipity.
The subtleties, and the memories of past circumstances, that worked out fine.
This card suggests to me today, that someone out there is feeling as though things will never work out for them.
That luck/God/the universe is not on their side.
I implore you to look deeply for where the world is on your side.
Rise above feelings of disillusionment and flip that card the right way up.
Much love
