Each Wednesday I will begin the day by drawing a divination card for inspiration and posting it here.

With a few words from my intuition, I will give you something to think about for your day and week.

Use the card as a writing prompt, or simply something to reflect on.

*I pick these cards at random, by shuffling a deck, and allowing a card to fall out by its own accord. Whilst shuffling, I ask God to show me what I need to see for this post, and all who read it. It may not resonate with you and that is ok – this is just my offering to you who reads this, it is sent with love and best wishes. Take what feels right for you, and leave what does not, for another.

This is an utterly beautiful card to write about, for the very first Wednesday Wisdom of 2017.

The Ace of Cups is about new and renewed love.

It is about abundance and warmth.

It is about our cups overflowing with joy, and offers of overwhelming positivity.

It matches up very well with how I am feeling right now.

Having spent the dawning of the New Year in Glastonbury, a place widely accepted by the spiritual community as the Heart Chakra of the world, I am feeling a warmth in my heart.

It is a warmth that I have been feeling for around about six months now.

A warmth where I wake up in the morning feeling incredibly loved.

I am so glad to be able to share this feeling with you.

The card above shows a cup with an eye hovering above it. This can be seen as the Third Eye Chakra – an energetic point in our bodies that can see beyond the physical.

It is with this eye that we can see this new love on our horizon, even if we do not see it tangibly in our everyday lives – yet.

This eye shows us the love that is ever present within and around us, that can be tapped into at all times, and used to fill us up.

This love needs no other person to give it. It is already within us.

However, this cup can also represent a physical offering of love, from one to another.

Is there anyone you are estranged from that you need to offer peace to?

Is there an apology you are waiting for?

Is there someone in your heart who you are hoping to share your life with?

Is there a love you thought was over, that could yet  be rekindled? Even if that love is with yourself?

This is the time to accept yourself, and others around you with love and compassion.

To really reach deep inside yourself for that never ending supply of joy, that we all have within.

It is  time to start forgiving those that have hurt us, to start healing wounds that have been simmering just below the surface.

It is also important to note the Moon cycles on the Card. The New moon on the 29th December was about leaving things behind and stepping into the new.

The Full moon coming up on the 12th of January is a time of culmination. Receiving the first of what we energetically wished for as we moved forward into 2017.

I believe this Full Moon on the 12th of January will have special significance for all of us in terms of love.

Let’s look out for signs in the days leading up to it and the days just after, of how love is manifesting in our lives.

It may not be a bouquet of flowers (thought it may be) – but it will hold promise and potential  that is long lasting. It will heal and it will warm.
