Last night, I read a few poems at an art event being held for International Women’s Day
I am sure every woman can relate, to not having as much time as they would like for themselves.
Whether it be looking after a family, elderly parents, or simply the demands of a job, women tend to be the ones to juggle most of these things all at once.
So here is a poem for all you women out there (and men), who relate to the struggle of not having enough time.

If I had all the time in the world to read
yogi-like
meditating pages,
madonna and child
atop pyramids,
decapitated mayans
beside sea salt,
depths of the dead sea
wave-like,
lick space
turn
begin
again.
