Each Wednesday I will begin the day by drawing a divination card for inspiration and posting it here.
With a few words from my intuition, I will give you something to think about for your day, and week.
Use the card as a writing prompt, or simply something to reflect on.
*I pick these cards at random, by shuffling a deck, and allowing a card to fall out on its own accord. Whilst shuffling, I ask God to show me what I need to see for this post, and all who read it. It may not resonate with you, and that is OK – this is just my offering to you who reads this, it is sent with love and best wishes. Take what feels right for you, and leave what does not, for another.
(Peace – Wisdom of the Oracle Deck, by Colette Baron Reid)
Today I decided to use the very first deck I ever bought. I purchased Colette Baron Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle Deck last summer.
The energy of the cards is a light one, the images are sweet, simple and easy to interpret.
As we have now officially entered the Spring time here in the UK, I felt that a lighter energy would work well this week.
The card that popped out, was the Peace card. The card came out reversed, which adds a little twist to this week’s message.
I instantly received a strong feeling of overthinking with this card.
It’s almost as though we are not allowing ourselves to experience peace at this time.
Perhaps you are experiencing a bit of a lull in your life at the moment.
Perhaps nothing is really happening, there is no drama, there is a peacefulness that is bordering on the boring.
This card is urging us to appreciate this peaceful moment in our lives. Things do not stay the same for long, so in a way, this is about enjoying the calm before the storm. Even if that storm is set to be one of those healing and enjoyable ones.
The bird depicted is carrying an olive branch. Therefore this message is also one of peace offering, and forgiveness.
Perhaps you are waiting for someone to apologise, are the one that needs to say sorry, or you are looking for a peaceful resolution to a problem.
The egg in the card symbolises the incubation time before something new is born.
This is a time of waiting.
Maybe you are waiting for new projects to come through.
Maybe you are waiting to see how certain things will pan out in your life, and you are fretting in the meantime.
Try not to overthink as you wait for things to come into fruition.
Peace and joy are here for you now, and more good things will come.
Much love Txx
