Each Wednesday I will begin the day by drawing a divination card for inspiration and posting it here.
With a few words from my intuition, I will give you something to think about for your day, and week.
Use the card as a writing prompt, or simply something to reflect on.
*I pick these cards at random, by shuffling a deck, and allowing a card to fall out on its own accord. Whilst shuffling, I ask God to show me what I need to see for this post, and all who read it. It may not resonate with you, and that is OK – this is just my offering to you who reads this, it is sent with love and best wishes. Take what feels right for you, and leave what does not, for another.
(6 of Pentacles, Rider Waite Smith Tarot)
The Six of Pentacles is a card of giving and receiving in a balanced way.
In terms of our relationships, when this card pops up, it shows us that there is an exchange going on in our lives that is equal.
When you feel fulfilled and like your needs are met, you are then better able to meet the needs of others around you.
Last weekend, I had an epiphany about how little I have felt truly heard in my life.
I try to be a person that others can lean on, without fully understanding that if I had no one to lean on, I would eventually fall over.
This is through no fault of anyone else, I just have always found it hard to really open up to people about my hardship.
This meant that I finally came to a point where I could no longer take on any one else’s hardships.
I was full to the brim and unable to give anymore.
I felt burnt out.
So I redressed the balance and spent several days on my own meditating, doing yoga and taking long walks and healing baths.
I also took the plunge and told someone how I was feeling.
I also tried not to censor my responses when a friend asked me if things were ok.
This was pretty uncomfortable for me!
I like to be ‘fine’ all the time.
I don’t like admitting when I am not.
However, it is only when we are able to be open to help that we will receive it.
I branded February the month of receiving, which really opened up my eyes to the need to not always be the giver.
This week, pay attention to the ways in which you give and the ways in which you receive.
To any blocks you have with either one.
Much love always
Txx
