Each Wednesday I will begin the day by drawing a divination card for inspiration and posting it here.
With a few words from my intuition, I will give you something to think about for your day, and week.
Use the card as a writing prompt, or simply something to reflect on.
*I pick these cards at random, by shuffling a deck, and allowing a card to fall out on its own accord. Whilst shuffling, I ask God to show me what I need to see for this post, and all who read it. The message I give, may or may not correlate with the traditional meaning of the actual card. It may not resonate with you, and that is OK – this is just my offering to you who reads this, it is sent with love and best wishes. Take what feels right for you, and leave what does not, for another.
(The Lady of the Lake – Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Cards, by Colette Baron Reid)
This is a card, and a lady concerned with clarity.
It’s all about getting to the truth of a matter, with calm and purposeful enquiry or observation.
Last week, we saw a card that told us to get rid of our rose tinted glasses, and start to see things clearly.
It appears as though after the Full Moon last Friday, we have done.
The Lady emerges from a torrent of emotion, yet her expression is calm.
She holds a sword in her hands.
She is ready to make choices, and decisions for her greater good.
This is ultimately a time of empowerment, through our divine feminine qualities, of love and receptivity.
The words on the card read:
“absolute truth, courage, self-respect, responsibility.”
Because really this card embodies what we all know, but find hard to have faith in.
The only people we have power over is ourselves.
If you show up in your life as the Lady of the Lake this week, mastering your emotions with grace, allowing what needs to flow, to come and go – the decisions and choices you need to make will become clear.
Much love Txx
