(View from our guesthouse of Nerja)
Hello lovely readers!
I am so sorry there was no blog post last Saturday, I was in Spain as Bridesmaid for a close friend’s wedding, and decided to have a short blogging break to mark the end of summer, and to commemorate my one year blogging anniversary.
As a Librarian in an American International University, (in London) semester is about to start, and I am so grateful to have had my third holiday abroad in a year!
As mentioned here and here this is really unusual for me. In my teens and 20s I went abroad often, but in recent years I’ve been so focused on study and career that travel took a back seat.
So now when I leave the UK, I savour each moment and try and stay in the present.
We stayed in Nerja, and I had a bit of time to explore Malaga before returning to London.
Here are some pictures for you, because sometimes just looking at holiday pictures is as good as going on holiday.
Nerja
The View from the rooftop terrace of Buddha Bar in Nerja. What a beautiful night sky.
The view from the roof top terrace of our amazing guesthouse, – Hostal Plaza Cantarero
The beautiful Sea
I was obsessed with the tiles and colours on the streets of Nerja, here are a couple of shots of them. I feel like my dress and shoes matched the landscape.
Malaga
We only had a few hours in Malaga – the city where Picasso was born – before our flights. So here are a few shots of the city, taken from one of those open top tour buses.
I must go back and explore more soon!
Much love and thank you for reading!
