Wednesday Wisdom #51 – Swords Edition

Each Wednesday I will begin the day by drawing a divination card for inspiration and posting it here.

With a few words from my intuition, I will give you something to think about for your day, and week.

Use the card as a writing prompt, or simply something to reflect on.

*I pick these cards at random, by shuffling a deck, and allowing a card to fall out on its own accord. Whilst shuffling, I ask God to show me what I need to see for this post, and all who read it. The message I give, may or may not correlate with the traditional meaning of the actual card.  It may not resonate with you, and that is OK – this is just my offering to you who reads this, it is sent with love and best wishes. Take what feels right for you, and leave what does not, for another.

I have recently started an eight week Tarot course, mentioned here. As an intuitive/psychic reader, I felt that it would be useful to learn in more depth about the symbolism inherent in the cards, and meet other people doing the same.

For the next few weeks of the course, we will be looking at each suit of the Tarot in more detail.  Last week we focused on the suit of Swords – traditionally associated with intellect, logic and conflict. It is also the suit associated with the element of Air.   So this week’s Wednesday Wisdom has been picked using only Swords Tarot Cards.

I hope you enjoy this little difference!

So I have received this card twice for myself over this last week, and I thought I would share with you the message I have been given:

It is time to get your stuff together and make a run for it!

Just kidding 🙂

But only a little bit.

The 7s in Tarot mark a time where you have battled hard, been victorious in many ways – but now you are facing yet another challenge or decision, and it is time to focus on the long game.

The man on the card is stealing from others and feeling pretty great about it, but in his haste he has forgotten two swords. Though this can be a card of deceit and shadiness, in this instance it is a warning to not be so hasty when you are feeling the need to make a change in your life that may well destabilise others around you.

There is a certain level of sneakiness in life that is totally justified.

Do you have plans that you are formulating, that you are not quite ready to share with others yet? Even though it may affect others?

This card is asking you to really think through what you are thinking of doing. Don’t make any sudden moves if what you are contemplating could have an impact on someone else.

Even if what you are thinking about will not impact anyone else, also make sure that you are not self-sabotaging, by trying to move too fast, too slow, or not at all.

Make a plan before you act, or bear in mind the plan you already have, when things seem to get challenging.

This may well be a week where you need to take a second look at yourself and where you are going in life. Where you need to really ascertain if you are on the right path and whether any tweaks or adjustments need to be made.

You may just come to the conclusion that you are exactly where you need to be, and all you need to do is stay grounded and slow down.

Much love Txx
