Last Night’s Meditation: Tired

Are you in need of rest?

I know I certainly am, and this is the message that came through for me last night.

Sometimes I underestimate how much I do, and then judge myself for feeling tired.

I rationalise that I only work part-time so how can I be tired?

I fail to take into account all the other things that drain me physically and emotionally each day – things that all of us experience and that rightly so will make us feel tired by the end of the day.

So why all this self judgement?

Because there is always so much we think we should be doing.

We sometimes base our self-worth on how much we can get done.

So today I ask you to look at all the things you do in your life, then pat yourself on the back for a job well done and take a break!

Have a rest, do whatever you can to recuperate.

If you read this blog often you know how much I love baths for this purpose.

Perhaps it will simply be a chocolate bar and a cup of tea.

(My guide kept showing me tea and a Twix!)

 

Have a bowl of nurturing soup too if you can, I did last night before bathing and heading to bed –  all by 9pm!
