(Chameleon Spirit, Act as if – Spirit Animal Oracle Card Deck by Colette Baron-Reid)

 

I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on the Spirit Animal Oracle Card Deck by Colette Baron-Reid.

I have become increasingly inundated with Spirit Animal messages lately (as one does), and when I saw this new deck, by one of my favorite ladies, I have been waiting for the opportune time to buy it.

Buying an Oracle/Tarot deck is not quite like buying anything else really.

You need to know that it is a good intuitive fit for you, that the imagery speaks to you on a soul level, that the feel of it in your hands is going to be right. 

I tend to buy a lot of my decks online simply for the convenience, but I love going into occult/New Age shops and touching them all too.

I often just feel when a deck is right for me, and this one is calling out to me!

But, I am in the process of moving house, city and job, so I want to wait until I am more settled before welcoming the Spirit Animals formally into my home – I don’t want them getting confused about where to lay their heads at night!

So in the meantime, I have used Coleen’s wonderful online tool to pull a card for myself and for you my beautiful readers.

The card we have is Chameleon Spirit – Act As If 

The message from the oracle is as follows:

This is a fortunate time to “act as if” and “do as others do” until the new ways feel familiar and completely natural. Life is offering you a great lesson now: adapting isn’t about losing yourself; it’s about learning how to dance with others.

 

This is completely the message that I needed to receive right now  – yes I am feeling sensitive.

So much in my outer world is about to change, and I have only just begun to feel more excitement than nerves.

So I am going to embrace the Chameleon Spirit and act as if I already know what I am doing.

I am going to act like I know how to pay for my journey on the bus I will be getting to my new place of work on Monday morning. (I vaguely do know, and I will ask those that do)

I am going to act as if I know where my new local shops are. (I vaguely do know and I will ask those that do)

 

One of the key things about this card is the way that it highlights our need to turn to others for support when change is taking place.

I am lucky enough to be moving to a city I know well, and with people nearby that I love.

All those random strangers that I don’t know yet, will become new commuting buddies, and will become the people I ask for help when I will inevitably get lost going somewhere.

My new work colleagues will become invaluable in training me.

The new friends I will make, will help me to settle in.

I will try and do all of this acting as if I have the confidence to take on all of this new, and before you know it I will simply be living my new life.
