On Christmas Day I managed to find an hour or so to sit quietly and read.

It felt like such a luxury and was pretty much all the present I needed.

I don’t find the time to read as much as I would like, in all honesty because I get distracted by Netflix and You Tube whenever I have spare time.

Reading is not really a distraction though, it takes you to another world sometimes, yes, but the very act of turning a page is deeply grounding in the present moment.
