(Relationship Harmony, Archangel Oracle Card by Doreen Virtue)

 

I have been struggling lately with unexpected conflict with others.

As I have grown spiritually, how I interact with those around me has changed dramatically.

I speak up for myself a lot more, and I put up with a lot less. 

This has meant inevitable clashes and disputes with others, ranging from the relatively minor to the rather big.

If I really look clearly, this rise in conflict has been taking place for almost 4 years, and is in direct correlation with how much I have grown into who I am.

It began with a gigantic argument with a family member, I had to stand up for myself in a way I never had done before.

It manifested in me letting go of close friends who I felt were not in alignment with my new self.

I (naively) thought that after all of this hard work, conflict would be a thing of the past.

Well, the last couple of weeks have shaken that up!

Once you become a person that speaks up, you will face conflict repeatedly. 

Though I strive to be direct in a loving and compassionate way, healthy confrontation is not something that many are comfortable with.

I never used to be comfortable with it.

I would stuff down my feelings so as not to ‘rock the boat’ or hurt another – even if I was hurt.

I used to think, like many of us, that actually the better thing, the kinder thing is to avoid direct confrontation at any cost – this is not always true.

Conflict with others can help us to grow as people.

So sometimes conflict comes in the form of conflict avoidance, which is a kind of conflict all of its own.

Alternatively, engaging with disputes head-on can be taxing and leave you feeling drained.

I don’t love conflict, but I no longer run from it.

 I work at becoming more able to deal with it swiftly, so that a win-win situation can be had.

Whilst I struggled with understanding the many conflicts brewing in my life at the moment, the energy of Archangel Raguel made itself known to me.

(I had been asking  pleading for Divine Guidance)

Synchronistically, Raguel is the Archangel most associated with Justice. 

If you read this blog regularly, you will know that the energies of Justice have been with us over the last weekend, into the Full Moon on the 21st, and continuing into the end of this month – in fact right up to the New Moon in April.

This is a time of resolving and reconciliation. 

Raguel is the Archangel that works with us to provide harmony in relationships, he teaches us to ‘fight fairly’, so that we can iron out differences and continue to enjoy key people in our lives.

Once the energy of Raguel came to me, I was able look at the conflict going on in my life from a different perspective.

If I approach it with compassion and understanding, I will be promoting the best outcome for all – even if it is not the outcome my human self would expect.

Message from Archangel Raguel: We angels are opening the hearts of everyone involved.  Arguments and conflicts are being resolved now.

Your prayers for personal peace have been answered, and you are to be commended for your role in ushering peace into this situation.  Visualize everyone involved (including yourself) being co-operative and open-minded, even if particular persons aren’t this way.  Trust the inner guidance you receive, and know that changes are sometimes uncomfortable but often necessary.  Ask me to help with any aspects of relationships that need healing.  Know that all relationships ultimately have blessings, growth lessons, and love at their core, even if appearances seem otherwise.  Stay focused upon this truth as much as possible.

Working with Archangel Raguel:  Raguel’s name means “Friend of God,” and his principal role is to create harmony and order in relationships.  He has the power to resolve disputes, and is often referred to as “The Archangel of Justice and Fairness.”  If you find yourself in a dispute, ask Raguel to act as mediator.  He’ll come up with a creative situation in which everyone wins.
