The Major Arcana card in the Tarot that relates to the sign of Aries, is technically The Emperor, a card all about taking control of your life.

However, I always equate the sign of Aries with The Fool card in Tarot. (Another card it is associated with.)

It is the energies of this card that feel the most fitting for this New Moon:

(The Fool, Rider Waite Smith Tarot)

We are about to begin anew for the second time this year.

We will be called to take what may feel like giant leaps of faith with confidence, not knowing where on earth it will lead.

The Fool is the first card in the Tarot, the journey that he undertakes is what the remaining cards are all about.

He steps out like the fool he is (!) with no understanding of the trials and tribulations that he will meet along his life path.

We are being asked to experience this period of time with a beginner’s mind, don’t assume that you know everything – you most certainly do not, and that is ok.

Whilst the sky is dark, we are in the dark, but this New Moon urges us to step forward anyway.

Something will present itself in the next couple of weeks, and whatever it is will feel like a risk.

Remember the energy of The Fool when it comes up.

Life is for living, and this time is perfect for not holding back.
