As I sat down to write this post I heard the word Revitalize, and so there we have it – the energies of this New Moon in Taurus.
Taurus is a sign of sensuality, enjoyment of earthly pleasures.
It is associated with two of the major Arcana cards in the Tarot: The Hierophant and The Empress
Seemingly these two energies are very different.
The Hierophant, who Taurus is ‘officially’ linked to, is all about commitment.
It is the card of institution and conformity.
The Empress embodies effortless manifestation.
Though she too is concerned with being grounded, it is more about the energy she holds within rather than actual outside structures or organisations.
So how is this energy going to revitalize us?
My last post was all about how I was discovering what it really means to care for myself.
Through that discovery I have found myself refreshed in a brand new way.
I feel revitalized from within, safe in the knowledge that taking care of my more material needs will breed more emotional security.
The Tarot suit of Pentacles/Coins, is also associated with the sign of Taurus and the fellow earth signs of Capricorn and Virgo.
It is s all about our material lives, and when I read for others, I have also noted that it is very much linked to our self-esteem.
Though we can aspire to be ‘ascended’ and ‘enlightened’ we cannot forget that we are human beings for this life at least, and our human needs for comfort and beauty are not to be overlooked.
Food has the ability to revitalize us.
Dancing has that ability too.
Walking in the rain and feeling the sun on your face – these are all ways in which we can revitalize ourselves.
This New Moon is begging us to recognize this.
How will you go about participating in this energy for the next couple of weeks?
Much love Txx
