Even When It’s Difficult

Last night I lit a candle and rolled out my yoga mat.

It was 9pm but the sky was blazing orange.

My bedroom was warm.

The practice was pretty close to the ground, and I took every opportunity to close my eyes and breathe deep.

These last couple of weeks have been intense.

Life has begun to speed up and my first response is to go home.

Home to my family.

For the first time in almost 4 months I am craving the familiar.

Where steps are automatic and faces grow along with me.

Life has been static for so long, and now that it has begun to move, I’m desperate to return to my anchor.

So I return to my breath.

Much love Txx
