So the other day I reached a milestone!

Quite a major one for me.

I am not going to say what it is on here because I don’t think it is necessarily appropriate at this stage – and the importance of it is something very unique to me.

To anyone else this may not seem like a big deal.

To me it is incredibly big, and is significant of the much bigger picture of my growing self-worth.

I’ve never been a competitive person, and live life in tune with my own personal wants and wishes.

I do things when I am ready and no amount of pushing by anyone else, can make this process faster.

In fact, sometimes I have to be careful that an inner rebel does not come out, simply because others have tried to push me forwards before I am ready.

Reaching a milestone of a long held goal is something so special and a moment to be savoured.

I intend to celebrate with a gluten-free beer!
