Each Wednesday I will begin the day by drawing a divination card for inspiration and posting it here.
With a few words from my intuition, I will give you something to think about for your day, and week.
Use the card as a writing prompt, or simply something to reflect on.
*I pick these cards at random, by shuffling a deck, and allowing a card to fall out on its own accord. Whilst shuffling, I ask God to show me what I need to see for this post, and all who read it. The message I give, may or may not correlate with the traditional meaning of the actual card. It may not resonate with you, and that is OK – this is just my offering to you who reads this, it is sent with love and best wishes. Take what feels right for you, and leave what does not, for another.
(Observer – Wisdom of the Oracle Deck, by Colette Baron Reid)
As soon as this card came out, I heard the words: ‘Things are not what they seem’.
The Observer card upright, would be about seeing things clearly, the finer details of a situation. It would signify situations becoming easier to see, after perhaps a period of darkness.
As this card came out reversed, the message is slightly different.
It is not so much that we are struggling to see, but rather that what we are seeing at this time, may not be correct.
It feels as though there is a veil covering a picture, and everything is slightly skewed.
But there is good news.
This Friday 9th June, sees the Full Moon in Sagittarius.
All Full Moons herald the culmination of an issue, it is a time when secrets come to light, or simply when things become a little clearer.
The Fox in the image, is pointing his/her telescope towards the Moon for clarification and enlightenment.
We too can do the same.
What situations in your life appear to have a hazy atmosphere around them?
Are your instincts telling you that something is off with someone in your life?
Are you simply waiting for a situation to work out in your favor?
Well this week we have the chance to really look beyond what is being presented to us.
To use our discernment to understand that what we appear to see is not always the truth.
We may also experience at least the beginning of a situation starting to make sense.
It’s a good time, but also one that calls for us to really be honest with ourselves.
It is not a time for sticking our heads in the sand.
Find the courage to look at your life with realistic eyes.
It is only then that you will be able to see the beauty inherent in places you have been looking at all along.
Much love, and enjoy this week of promise.
